          Teenagers in today's society have a great degree,it is the best and the worst of all worlds.

         First, they are born into a society that couldn't be more revolutionary and innovative. They have all these gadgets at their disposal that their parents dream of and their grandparents couldn't even imagine. They have an incredible amount of information to aid their development. They also have opportunities  to express themselves, to extend their reach, to discover their potential and to enhance their life quality. Besides the teenagers today appear to be revolting throughout the world.Teenagers today also influences by some bad  factors. For example, moral values and graciousness in the past were prominent in most teenagers. However,today these moral values and self-discipline hold by the teenagers are gradually diminishing over the years. This lack of self-discipline and self control is becoming more and more apparent over time. Even the simplest of morals say, respect, care and consideration are fading away over the years. In particular, a simple display of respect like offering the elderly a seat on the bus is being replaced by other violent acts.                                          

          Furthermore,teenagers of today tend to lead a modern lifestyle as compared to teenagers in the past.Unlike those days,teenagers are forced to stay inside the house and play all kinds of simple games while teenagers today have variety of choice of games just like computer games.

          Finally, teenagers are increasingly operating within a world of their own through technology, especially with the new games they often lacking human warmth and comfort. They occupy a suspicious world where hugs and basic affection come with questions, doubts and caution. Many of them go through each day missing out on a simple cuddle, a word of praise, a hug, an affirmation of how wonderful they are and without understanding, affection and value. Without the extended family of friends and neighbours who used to affirm us and look after us, many youth now feel isolated, independent and unloved. This increases the deviant tendency among them as many struggle to deal with their anger and pain.      

          As a whole teenagers today live in a remarkable world compared to the pastyear.

Women's Achievement Today

The empowerment of women refers to providing the necessary rights and responsibilities to women in order to make them self-reliant. Traditionally, Indian women have been brought to become workers or servants to serve the man – dominating world. Even in mythology, there is no gender equity and women were deprived of their legal rights, to get property, education privacy, social status and they were never treated as participants in any developmental works. Empowerment is the process of building capacities of women, creating an atmosphere which will enable people to fully utilize their creative potentials. Empowerment gives women, the capacity to influence decision making process, planning, implementation and evaluation. The status of women empowerment using various indicators like women's household decision making power, financial autonomy, freedom of movement, political participation, acceptance of unequal gender role, exposure to media, access to education, experience of domestic violence etc based on data from different sources. Gender gap exists regarding access to education and employment. Household decision-making power and freedom of movement of women vary considerably with their age, education and employment status.

Women were like "useless" before especially in our society. But obviously in our present time, women can also do men's job and amazingly can be trusted in all of the things unlike before. I can say that gender gap doesn't exist anymore. Today, we can hear stories, witness experiences of women who did a great job to survive the complication of living.





One frequent example, SINGLE MOMS. We all know that being a mother isn't that simple. Having been raised by a woman who gave her best just to give her child quality education and a but surely attainable future is indeed a GREAT ACHIEVEMENT in her part. Nowadays, stories about different women's achievement are mostly heard and seen. This can probably let everyone in the world see that women now are most likely FUNCTIONAL, INFLUENTIAL and INSPIRATIONAL unlike the old times where the capability of women were limited.

BEAUTY & FASHION: Wears very native cloth everyday and keeps her hair natural done. FAMILY: Make it a priority to take care of their significant other before themselves.  They always cook, take care of laundry and clean. They are a little more submissive. Waits hand and foot on a man, expects nothing in return, and doesn't mind not being allowed to have a mind or life of her own.  They are more family orientated.  Desires to have children. Believes primary goal in life is to raise children, and willing to sacrifice for children  Women know that if they take care of their partner, it is almost impossible for the husband not to reciprocate back.  SOCIETY: Does more listening than talking, keeps her opinions to herself.  Exhibits kind and gentle behavior to create a community or society suitable for rearing children. SEX: They are more likely to have slept with fewer men. Probably will only have sex if it’s in a committed relationship. BEAUTY & FASHION: Fashionable but usually wears jeans as opposed to dresses. FAMILY: Make it a priority to take care of themselves before their significant other.  Will often hear from them, "I don't want to cook, it’s your turn to cook." They may or may not keep the house clean. Many will only do their own laundry stating, "You have hands why don't you do your own laundry," to their husbands. Expects her husband to do half of the household work.  They are self entitled(to what I don't know). For some unknown reason they always seem to "deserve" something.  Doesn’t want kids “right away” or even “ever” Modern women have been known to use sex as a bargaining chip in relationships because they think it’s always about me. SOCIETY: Very aware of the economy, politics, the world, etc. and always wants you to hear her own opinion.  Acts out more aggressively than ever before, indirectly teaching children aggression is ok. SEX: They tend to be more promiscuous. Will slut their way through life until they find, "the right one". By the time they are ready to settle down they have lost count of the men they have slept with.  Likes to have sex with multiple partners and feels empowered by this.

Today's Teens

Teenagers or what we so-called TEENS are the persons whose age are between 13-19. As I can see it, teens today differ a lot from the teens of yesterdays. Maybe your mother or your grandmother told you stories on how they lived as teenagers before. And maybe you'll notice that it is a lot different from how you live as teenagers today.

Teenagers today are more fierce, adventurous, smart, free-spirit and FASHIONABLE. They don't just stay at home and knit clothes or do some gardening or cooking. They engaged themselves to the things they want to do. Some of these things are done by the adults already. For example, they use their passion for something to earn money and start a business. Some young ladies who has a passion for fashion sells clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry and many more.

I can say that teenagers today are really fashionable. They have their own taste of styles. Even though some of them just wear shirt and jeans, they make sure that they will look perfect with it by putting their own little touch of confidence and don't forget, accessories.We can't deny that young ladies today love to wear make-ups. It is part of their beauty routine aside from dressing up. And don't forget the topic of love and boys. This is very famous among the teens today.
